How We Pick a Colour

Every season starts with far too many swatches taped to a window. Daylight decides most of it: a colour that sings under studio lights can turn flat and grey on an overcast morning, which is when most of these clothes are actually worn.

What survives is a short palette that works together, so two pieces bought a year apart still look like they belong.
