Keep a laptop sleeve that lets the laptop come out in one motion rather than digging through a bag. Wear slip-on shoes on travel days, and keep a slim cardholder rather than a bulky wallet so pocket contents come out fast.
None of this replaces PreCheck, but on a normal line it's the difference between being the person holding up the queue and the person through in under ten seconds.
